Wallington Labour-Only Carpet Fitting Specialists
Have you bought high-quality carpets from stores like Tapi, Carpetright, or an online outlet? Finding independent, highly skilled carpet fitters in Wallington can be tough when stores push their own delayed subcontractors. We are 100% fitting-only specialists dedicated to laying customer-supplied carpets across Wallington, Beddington, Roundshaw, and Hackbridge.
We supply trade-standard underlays alongside heavy-duty gripper rods and sleek door transition strips. If you've also considered LVT in adjacent rooms, we ensure smooth join thresholds between carpet and luxury vinyl tiles from brands like Karndean or Amtico.
Our Wallington Carpet Fitting & Power Stretching Standard
Carpet durability depends on precision installation. Whether laying a soft twist wool carpet or a dense synthetic weave from Furlong Flooring, we adhere strictly to British Standards.
First, we secure heavy-duty dual-purpose grippers along room perimeters. Second, we lay dense underlay (such as Bliss 11mm) to cushion step impact. Finally, we use a mechanical power stretcher to drum-tension the carpet. Hand knee-kickers alone leave carpets loose and prone to rucking, whereas mechanical stretching guarantees a tight, long-lasting finish on flat floors, stair runners, and winder steps in Wallington's Edwardian villas and 1930s Roundshaw semis alike.
