Frequently Asked Questions About Victoria Carpets
Direct answers from Paul to help you make informed decisions about your flooring project.
What is Victoria Carpets' LOC-weave backing?
LOC-weave is a patented backing system that eliminates traditional stiff latex, making the carpet softer, easier to manipulate on stair winders, and highly resistant to delamination.
Why choose Victoria 80/20 wool over synthetic carpets?
80/20 wool combines 80% natural wool for bounce-back and soil resistance with 20% nylon for tensile strength, outlasting synthetics on heavy-wear stairs.
Do you template winding staircases for Victoria runners?
Yes. Paul hand-templates every winder step to ensure pile direction and woven loops stay perfectly aligned through turns.
What underlay is best with Victoria Carpets?
High-density 9mm or 11mm PU foam underlay (such as Bliss 9mm/11mm or Cloud 9 Cumulus) is recommended to maintain pile recovery and honour manufacturer guarantees.
