Professional Carpet Fitting
A quality carpet is a significant investment for your home. However, even the best carpet will look loose and start rippling within months if it isn't fitted properly.
I stretch all carpets using a mechanical lever power stretcher (to BS 5325 standards) rather than just tapping it with a knee-kicker. This ensures the carpet is stretched to its correct tension and secured tightly to dual-grip gripper rods, keeping your floor completely flat and ripple-free for its entire lifespan.

Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) is perfect for modern homes. It gives you the look of real wood planks or stone tiles but is 100% waterproof and won't scratch or warp, making it ideal for busy kitchens and bathrooms.
For LVT to last, subfloor preparation is everything. I overlay suspended timber floors with 6mm FG1 ply to prevent flexing, smooth concrete bases with latex self-levelling screed compound, and run moisture tests to ensure the base is completely dry before laying.

Cushioned Sheet Vinyl Installation
Cushioned sheet vinyl is a soft, warm, and highly cost-effective option. Because it is completely seamless and waterproof, sheet vinyl is perfect for family bathrooms and kitchens where spills are common.
I prepare the subfloor to ensure a completely smooth lay, secure the perimeter, and seal the edges with watertight silicone to prevent moisture from getting underneath.
